  • The event is an all-day affair, with gates into the spectator stations starting at 7 a.m., along with races twisting off at 4 pm (You can buy tickets to the spectator areas, but grandstand tickets have been sold out.)

  • Atlantic Avenue between Flatbush Avenue and Court Street
  • Lorraine Street between Hicks Street and Otsego Street
  • Commerce Street between Van Brunt Street and also Imlay Street
  • A huge swath of Brooklyn may have street closures in effect that this weekend–along with all of the traffic and road disruptions that brings–to adapt the 2019 New York City ePrix on Saturday and Sunday.

  • Conover Street between Pioneer Street and Water / Dead End
    • 5th Avenue between Union Street and Flatbush Avenue
    • A lot of the action is centered in and about using all the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. The track itself, that is almost 1.5 miles long, will wind through the area, taking over Bowne Street and the surrounding areas. (So do not plan a visit to Ikea this weekend.)

    • Beard Street between Otsego Street and Conover Street
    • Verona Street between Van Brunt Street and Imlay Street
    • However, Brooklynites who could not care less will still believe that the event’s effect, since many roads in Red Hook, Cobble Hill, and Park Slope–including a stretch of Atlantic Avenue–will probably be closed.

    • Wolcott Street between Otsego Street and Water / Dead End
    • Flatbush Avenue between 5th Avenue and Atlantic Avenue
    • Van Dyke Street involving Otsego Street and Water / Dead End
    • Dwight Street between Coffey Street and Beard Street
    • Court Street between Atlantic Avenue and Bay Street
    • Van Brunt Street between Summit Street and Water / Dead End
    • Halleck Street between Otsego Street and Columbia Street

    • Union Street between Smith Street and 5th Avenue

    • Summit Street between Van Brunt Street and also Imlay Street

    • For those who aren’t familiar with this kind of racing–kind of similar to the Grands Prix at Monaco or even Australia, but together with e-vehicles–Formula E, then a series which uses only electrical automobiles, began in 2014 and has since traveled to cities around the world. The new york event first took in 2017 over Brooklyn; this year’s race is going to be the one in the borough.
