Even though the hours mentioned on the sign state that the people park will be open from 8% to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, the developer claims that the hours displayed are incorrect and will likely be upgraded in the near future.

POPOS have been a growth requirement because the passage of the 1985 Downtown Strategy at San Francisco. There are heaps of POPOS across the city, primarily in the downtown and Financial District regions
Also of note: The neighboring Temporary Transbay Terminal will turn into a park called Transbay Park. Residents and employees in the region who wish to chime in on the park’s design can take a questionnaire here.
Comes with knolls and Much More than enough lighting

The new public area, scheduled to start by the end of June, includes four knolls, at six benches, and a staggering 20 lamp posts.

Since the East Cut braces for gaggles of all Facebook employees to descend upon the nascent neighborhood, a small privately-owned public open area (aka POPOS) will open next door to the societal media colossal’s newest hive.

The new sitting place is going to be a nice, albeit much bigger, substitute for the 5.4-acre Salesforce Park, located on the roof of this briefly shuttered Transbay Transit Terminal, that proved popular with the lunchtime audience.
