For record collectors, the past few years at New York City are demanding, to say the very least, as bevy of longtime vinyl peddlers–including Other Music, Rebel Rebel Records, also Bleecker Bob’s–shuttered their doors.
But even with those reductions, there are plenty of areas for crate-diggers to go looking for treasures. Even better, New York’s album stores are varied enough that no matter what genre you favor–make sure walnut , dancehall, or even it indie rock –you will discover something cool.
